HowTo access your Jungle Disk on Windows XP or 2000

Digg this!

I'm using Jungle Disk to backup data on Amazon. Here are some instructions on how to use Jungle Disk. To access your Jungle Disk on Windows XP or 2000, use the "My Jungle Disk" shortcut provided on your Start Menu under the Jungle Disk group.

If for any reason the shortcut is not available or does not work, you can create a new one as follows:

1. Browse to My Network Places on your Start Menu

2. Select "Add Network Place"

3. Select "Choose another network location" and enter: http://localhost:2667 for the address.

On Windows XP and Vista you can also map your Jungle Disk to a local drive letter. To map a drive, select the drive letter in the Jungle Disk configuration under the Jungle Disk Options tab. For more details on drive mapping see http://www.jungledisk.com/mapdrive.shtml
